Archer Exploration Limited is an exploration company focused on unlocking the phosphate, iron, manganese and base metals potential of its quality portfolio of assets in South Australia.
The company has carefully acquired a number of phosphate, iron, manganese and base metals projects in the highly prospective Gawler Craton region of South Australia. The Gawler Craton is home to the world class Olympic Dam, Prominent Hill and Carrapateena copper/gold deposits.
Archer’s World’s End tenement covers the historic Fairview Phosphate Mine which was last mined in 1903 when it yielded 100 tonnes of hand-picked phosphate ore grading 25% P2O5.
The company’s iron and manganese project at Carappee Hill was initially explored for base metals by the majors in the 1990's, Figure 1. With an improved iron ore and manganese price outlook and a fresh exploration approach the Carappee Hill project will see a new generation of exploration activity in 2008/09.
Archer Exploration has assembled an experienced board and management team. The Board takes a disciplined commercial and technical approach to maximize the value of the current portfolio and to take advantage of future opportunities as they arise.
