Project Overview

Archer’s major exploration focus is on the West Roxby Project (including Evelyn Dam and Apollo Prospects), Carappee Hill Project (Bender Prospect), Wilmington Project (Spring Creek Prospect) and Burra Project.

  West Roxby Project (100% AXE)

  • Evelyn Dam is a massive gravity anomaly, greater than 2km in diameter. It is interpreted to be a large iron ore-copper-gold-uranium (IOCG-U) deposit similar to BHP Billiton’s nearby Olympic Dam, which lies 150km to the NNE. Archer has completed close-spaced geophysical modelling and has defined several drill targets.

  • The Apollo Prospect is a significant gravity anomaly, 3km in diameter. It is interpreted to be a large mineralised igneous intrusion, possibly pipe-like in form. Close-spaced geophysical modelling has been completed and drill targets identified.

  Carappee Hill Project (100% AXE)

  • Preliminary soil sampling and reverse circulation (RC) drilling by Archer at the Bender Prospect has revealed a significant zone of gold-copper mineralisation over 2.7km in length. Geophysical modelling has identified a large geophysical target which may be the source of the mineralisation and which will be drill tested by Archer.

  Wilmington Project (100% AXE)

  • The Spring Creek Prospect has considerable recorded copper mineralisation and lies near the historic Spring Creek Mine, which is also within the tenement. Drilling by a previous explorer identified a mineralised zone of
21m @ 1.8% copper, from 125m depth at Spring Creek.

  Burra Project (100% AXE)

  • The Burra project area includes the historic Robertstown Copper Mine, 30km SE of Burra and other recorded copper, gold and multi-element mineral occurrences.
