The World’s End Project tenement area is located close to existing major infrastructure being only 15km south west from the historic copper mining town of Burra in South Australia. The Burra Mine was discovered in 1845 and until its closure in 1877 was regarded as one of the major copper mines in the world.
The tenement was selected for the presence of secondary surface copper mineralisation, which has been historically mined at the Robertstown Mine.
The Company intends to explore the tenement area for near surface oxide copper deposits with potential for the discovery of primary copper mineralisation at depth.
Gold, silver and lead mineralisation has also been mined from the tenement area and the sites of these discoveries will also be explored by Archer.
